Privacy Policy for CTET Prep

Effective date: June 16, 2026

CTET Prep is an educational exam-preparation app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CTET, CBSE, or any government examination authority.

Data We Collect

The release version of CTET Prep does not collect personal data from users and does not send user data to our servers.

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

  • Selected app language and paper preferences.
  • Quiz progress, attempted question counts, correct answer counts, and mock test scores.
  • Daily quiz attempt status.
  • Dark mode preference.

This local data is used only to show your preparation progress, resume practice, and personalize the app experience on your device.

Data Sharing

CTET Prep does not share personal data with third parties. The release app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, or social login SDKs.

Internet and AI Features

The current Play Store release build disables the AI tutor/network feature and does not include an API key. If a future release enables online AI features, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety form must be updated before publishing that release.

Permissions

The app requests the Android vibration permission only to provide quiz feedback. It does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, storage, phone, SMS, or advertising ID permissions.

Local Data Deletion

You can delete locally stored app data from inside the app: Profile -> Delete local data.

You can also remove app data from Android system settings by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

CTET Prep is intended for teacher eligibility exam candidates and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect data from children.

Security

The app keeps progress data in Android private app storage on the user's device. Android app backup and data extraction for this local progress storage are disabled in the app configuration.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when app features or data practices change. Any updates should be published with a new effective date before releasing the related app update.
